In this episode, we speak with Jason Anson, a sports technologist in Canada. He has been combining his background in web design and web data management with a passion for sport in his latest project – software for monitoring training. Jason has spent many years researching and interviewing athletes and coaches to best understand how the right information can be collected and used to improve performance. He takes a very logical and numbers-based approach to coaching and gauging personal performance in all sporting activities. You can download the training software (still under development) right now for free. Check out his websites (next paragraph) and enjoy the podcast.

Jason’s personal website (www.jasonanson.com) has a bio and the motivation behind his current project. The software can be downloaded at OptimoSport.com. He also keeps a very active sports technology Twitter account worth following @jasonanson – Sports Technologist.
